Valdir left Brazil at seventeen, alone, for an exchange year in Buenos Aires with the Rotary Club. He came back speaking Spanish and certain that his life would be built somewhere else. In July 2000 he landed in the United States to learn English and stay one year. He never went back.
What followed was the whole immigrant road: starting from zero, far from family, learning a country while building a life inside it. Today he is a licensed loan officer and the founder of Finexpress Mortgage, leading a group of companies that walks with the immigrant at every step of the journey: the home loan, the insurance that protects the family, the taxes in order, the roof built right.
